The Zanzibar Presidential Delivery Bureau (ZPDB) is an institution established under the President’s Office – State House, aimed at improving the delivery of public services in Zanzibar. On 02 December 2022, the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, launched the ZPDB at State House in Zanzibar.

Designed to be lean but highly skilled, the ZPDB is specialized in relevant fields of identified priority sectors. This enables the Bureau to adequately monitor and coordinate with the thematic teams in the Ministerial Delivery Units (MDUs) in charge of each key priority sector, supported by specialists and consultants as needed.
The ZPDB is expected to drive implementation of priority projects that would contribute to transformative, sustainable, and tangible outcomes and impacts in four broad priority sectors:
These priorities stem from the President’s election campaign promises, CCM Manifesto (2020-2025), the Zanzibar Development Plan (2021-2026), and the Zanzibar Development Vision (2020-2050).
